How the kaka got yellow cheeks
Once upon a time he was flying around the mountains He saw his friend yellow tailed black cockatoo and they hadn't seen each other in years. He asked, ‘what happened to your cheeks?’

He even almost died at night. kaka said, ‘so who did this to you?” ‘the kiwi’ said yellow tailed black cockatoo. …..one week later…..’they still haven’t stopped bullying me’ said yellow tailed blacked cockatoo. ‘you know what? I'll join you,give me your cheeks and put them on my face.
As he put them on my face I shut my eyes.
A few days after my cheeks changed i got beat up Boom bang crash bang my face was all crumbled.like i had a face like Jeff Daniels from dumb and dumber.

It was used for mating, it made different species
Like the kakapo,kakariki kakatuitui,
It was also used for hunting
Because it could mimic and it would attract different animals thinking they could mate.
They have yellow cheeks.
